CFF Social Studies PA Statewide Wiki

This wiki is an attempt to connect all CFF Social Studies teachers in PA. The idea is that if all of the CFF Social Studies teachers posted their ideas/lessons/resources, we would have a wealth of information at hand.   • This website allows you to create class pages in which you can add NBC News footage. You can create an assignment page that has instructions to the students, has an upload feature that you can add handouts created in Word, etc., and that you add the video clip to. Student can log in from any computer that has Internet connection. To have students access your class page, they have to first register and then use a class code that you provide. (You can also send them invitations via a built in email invite feature to do this.)

History on the Net

  • Click to go to the site, click the "reference" tab across the top middle page, click the A-Z tab for an alphabetical listing of historical events. When you click an event, up comes links pertaining to the event. Make sure you preview the items you plan on displaying before classroom use

Historical Anniversaries

  • Click on a date and see what happened important events happened on that date.
